Contribution to Miyagi Prefecture and the Regional Economy

NanoFrontier aims to create a ripple effect that extends beyond the growth of a single company by building a platform that makes Tohoku University’s advanced technologies broadly accessible to industry.

Specifically, the company will contribute to strengthening Miyagi Prefecture’s industry-academia collaboration ecosystem along three axes: creating employment in Sendai for AI engineers and scientists, attracting capital inflows from domestic and international investors including venture capital firms, and retaining local university graduates within the prefecture.

The registration under the Relocation Support Grant Program is part of NanoFrontier’s efforts to lower the financial barriers for talented individuals from the Tokyo metropolitan area to build their careers in Sendai, further accelerating this virtuous cycle.
